The drug begins to be taken the next day after the end of the course of steroids.
- The recommended dosage is 50-150 mg (1-3 tablets) per day.
- It is impossible to skip receptions.
- The course is 2-3 weeks.
The duration of reception and the daily dose are adjusted depending on what the course of steroids was. They also take into account the current state of the hormonal background and individual characteristics of the athlete. It is forbidden to drink alcohol in combination with Clomiphene.
Side effects
When taking Clomiphene, especially in high doses or with long cycles, visual disturbances sometimes occur.
These may be flare-ups or blurring, but they are often temporary and pass within a few days/weeks after the cycle.
It is not known what causes such changes, and in rare cases they may even be irreversible. If similar visual side effects occur, you should stop taking Clomiphene and urgently consult an ophthalmologist.

Contraindications to use
In female athletes, Clomiphene Citrate can cause a serious hormonal failure, so it is not recommended for their use. Excessive production of estrogen and progesterone will worsen their shape. Only one method of taking the drug by women is possible: minimal dosages in 2-week courses with subsequent breaks for the same amount of time. Common contraindications include:
- chronic diseases of the liver and kidneys,
- bleeding from the uterus of unknown origin,
- pituitary tumors,
- individual intolerance of the active substance or other substances of the drug.
Clomiphene is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating mothers.
