Description
Using Exemestane, athletes can suppress the level of estrogen in the body by up to 85% and protect themselves from aromatization.
When building a course, it should be taken into account that not all anabolic steroids are subject to aromatization. The use is justified for such drugs as testosterone and its derivatives, methandrostenolone, methyltestosterone. Boldenone and halotestin are slightly aromatized.
Characteristics:
- Active half-life period (hours): 24 hours
- Group: Aromatase inhibitors
- Dosage: 25 mg/tab.
- Application (men): 25 mg for 3 days
- Retains water: No
- Flavoring: None
In bodybuilding, aromatase inhibitors are most often used during a course of anabolic steroids for:
- prevention of gynecomastia
- increasing the level of anabolic hormones in the blood
- increased relief (due to the elimination of the negative influence of estrogens)
- prevention of hypertension
- reduction of estrogenic suppression of the hypothalamus-pituitary-testis axis, which leads to faster recovery.
Application of Exemestan during the course
The tactics of most domestic athletes is reduced to the use of aromatase inhibitors at the first signs of gynecomastia (swelling, itching in the nipple area, redness). However, this approach is not optimal.
The most rational solution is to perform an estradiol analysis approximately 10 days after taking anabolic steroids with a short half-life (testosterone propionate, methandrostenolone) or after 3-4 weeks of introducing long esters (enanthate, sustanone, cypionate). Then an average dosage of anastrozole of 0.5 mg every other day is prescribed. After 10 days, a control analysis of estradiol is performed and the dosage is adjusted based on the results.
A compromise option would be the use of a moderate or low dosage of anastrozole with an orientation to subjective sensations. If after the appointment there is a drop in libido, erectile dysfunction, depression, then it is necessary to lower the dose.
Side effects
The most common side effects of exemestane include rash, nausea, abdominal pain, fatigue, dizziness, headache, insomnia, and emotional upset.
Precautions while taking the drug
Before using Exemestan, it is necessary to conduct a preliminary blood analysis. This leads to a colossal decrease in estradiol and an increase in the efficiency of your cycle. Exemestane is an anti-estrogenic drug and is usually used as part of PCT.
Compatibility with other drugs
Exemestane is most effective during PCT, but can be used in combination with clomiphene or other steroids as part of a cycle.
