Vaclert Armodafinil tablets have some additional advantages, they do not affect natural hormones that affect sleep, including cortisol, the main stress hormone, somatotropin and melatonin. However, Armodafinil 150 mg tablets can still be addictive.
Effects of taking Armodafinil
The drug is very popular among mental workers and is used in the following cases:

- the general tone of the body increases,

Medical applications
Armodafinil is currently approved by the FDA for the treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness associated with obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and shift work. It is widely used off-label for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, chronic fatigue syndrome, and major depressive disorder. It was shown that it improves the vigilance of air traffic controllers.
Use and dosage of Armodafinil
For the treatment of narcolepsy and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, armodafinil is taken once a day in a dose of 150 mg or 250 mg in the morning.For the treatment of sleep disorders associated with shift work, Armodafinil is taken in a dose of 150 mg one hour before starting work. Dose titration is necessary to mitigate some side effects.
Side effects
In pre-registration controlled clinical studies, the most frequent adverse reactions (&ge.5%) in patients taking Armodafinil, which were observed more often than in patients taking placebo, were headache, nausea, dizziness and insomnia. The profile of adverse reactions was similar in all studies.
Precautions while taking Armodafinil
pregnancy: not recommended for pregnant women unless prescribed by a doctor. The benefits and risks associated with this drug should be discussed with your doctor.
Breast feeding: not recommended for women who are breastfeeding. It is important that the patient is closely monitored to check whether or not the unwanted effects of this product are passed on to the baby.
Alcohol consumption: you can increase the side effects caused by this drug, which include dizziness, impaired judgment, drowsiness, etc.
Contraception: weakens the effect of hormonal contraceptives, which can also lead to unwanted pregnancy.
