Although Tamoxifen does not prevent the accumulation of estrogen in the body, it prevents its action on certain receptors, primarily those located in the nipples. This is the main advantage for bodybuilders, because it is in this area that gynecomastia occurs when using aromatizing steroids, such as testosterone.

Effects of taking Tamoximed
Application and dosage of Tamoximed
It is most rational to use aromatase inhibitors during the course, among which proviron is especially popular, since this drug does not negatively affect the secretion of growth hormone and increases the concentration of anabolic hormones in the blood due to suppression of aromatization. In the last week of the course and 2 weeks after, Tamoxifen should be used as the main component of PCT. In the absence of proviron, the beginning of taking Tamoxifen falls on the 2nd week of the steroid cycle, and it ends 2-3 weeks after the end of the cycle, the average dose is 10-20 mg per day.
I would like to draw special attention to a common misconception when anti-estrogens are recommended to be taken after the cycle. The level of estrogen rises at the end of the first week of the cycle, so it is from this moment that you need to start taking it.
If anabolic drugs are used that are not subject to aromatization, the need for aromatase inhibitors disappears, whereas tamoxifen is included only at the end of the course.
Side effects
In order to avoid the side effects of Tamoximed as much as possible, female and male athletes must adhere to the correct dosage, duration of use.
The most common side effects (when the dosage is exceeded) are: sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body, sudden severe headache, confusion, vision problems, loss of appetite, increased thirst, muscle weakness, confusion, and feeling tired or restless .
What should be avoided
Do not forget that Tamoxifen is derived from female hormones. In large quantities, it can cause side effects, including uncontrolled fluid retention in the body and gynecomastia.
What other drugs will affect Tamoximed
It is not recommended to use Tamoxifen with steroids such as Deca or Trenbolone.
